wheres all my mainers at?

just wondering what you mainers are gonna do for the winter to keep your garden from freezing?!?!? it gets pretty freaking cold up here and my basement isnt heated so just trying to figure out a cool cheap way to keep the girls warm this winter

20bucks buys u 1of those bar heaters haven't got a link to view them but a quick Google will show u wot im on about....perfect for the job ...

If you use HPS then just have a small heater when lights are out that's run on a timer as well.

You are going to need an oil radiator

Close in an area with blue board, wedged against the ceiling, so your light doesn't have to heat the whole cellar.

insulating your growroomm walls well will help keep the heat in from lights during dark period longer. Prob want a small heater set on a thermostat to keep it from ever getting too cold

Yea the one I advised you on is ideal and I'm in the same boat being from scotland....and as far as insulating your room....Yea mine's is perfectly insulated and when my lights(hid) r off the temps plummet within an hour....get the 20quid one I told u about and u will have no worries..

I roll with it.
I've had succesful grow where temps were down to mid 40's with lights off.
Not ideal but I haven't had too big of issues with it.

I run my light from 9pm to 9 am to try and counter the cold nights.

Like u say not ideal but nice to no you had little probs at those temps because alot of people will b in the same boat and worried how it will affect them overall...
