where will we be in 100 years?

Just had a nice session:joint:. I had to sneak it in there really quickly, because I have to leave in an hour to see my addictions counselor (yay - no really, she's a nice woman).

While I wait, I decided to stop by riu. I forget what amazed me so much...but I got to thinking about how different our generation is from people alive a hundred years ago.

I bet people in 1911 didn't imagine humanity would one day be spending their abundant free time writing in a journal that talks back to them, receiving minute by minute news feeds from people they aren't familiar with, and sharing their every thought with complete strangers.

Where will we be in 100 years?

My answer:
1. Everyone will have a life simulator so they can sit and pretend to be someplace else.
2. Aliens will have revealed themselves as humanoids living in disguise on Earth for the past 3000 years.
3. Conan will have taken over the world.
4. People will still be smoking weed.

:-?

Anyone whose alive will be underground and will have to stay there for the next 300 years until Earth's surface rehabilitates itself to be a living environment non-lethal to humans.

I think in a 100 years from now. Most cvilizations will be gone. All that will remain are small remnants of the human race and fields of wild growing Marijuana as far as the eyes can see..:weed::weed::weed::weed::weed::weed::weed:

Budomatics will be invented. Place seed in. Set and forget.

The machine will be able to analize the leaves and provide nutes as necessary.

Actually we will have waaay superior drugs. GMO squirrels will leave them at our doorsteps, or whatever the **** we'll be using in place of doors. Or maybe chemical drugs will be obsolete ... iPods will have itty bitty jacks that plug behind your ear. Dial-a-buzz. cn

Seriously for a second, the changes over the past 100 years have been tiny. The planet is resilient. On a human scale, there will be wars over resources like oil, water, and good land ... and coastlines will change ... but stubborn ol'Gaia will soldier on. cn

We better have those damn flying cars I've been waiting for.
With the way some people drive... no way I'd want them sharing airspace with me.

Hover cars aren't gonna work unless they're majorly altitude restricted... no more than 20ft off the ground is plenty.
