Where to start

I am still novice at growing. I have been using soil but wanting to switch to hydro. I have a small 2 tent set up. I am really looking for help for where should I start, successful 5 gallon bucket setups and any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mainly i would recommend to keep your reservoir temp below 70 if you can even if that mean switching out frozen water bottles. Also i use a sterile reservoir to help prevent any root rot or bad bacteria with hth pool shock (note this will kill all bacteria not just bad bacteria). And on the other hand there is also benificial bacteria which basically compete with bad bacteria for food in order to keep root rot in check. I prefer sterile but i would recommend you try both at some point to see what works better for you.

5 gal buckets with air stones are an easy setup.

I use blue buckets from lowes and 6" netpot lids from hydro store. Air pump, air tubing, air stones. You will want a ph and ec meter.

I start around 5.5 or 5.6 and let it rise to 6.1 and then drop it back down.

You dont need that tube going up the side dude. Just a spot where it can leak.

Lowes blue or grey 5gal $2.97 x4
Netpot lid $3 x4
Air stone $2 x4
100Ft of tubing $13
GH dual diaphragm $50
Bag of hydroton $18
Blue lab combo $180
Blue lab reference and KCl $30

$323

this is my setup, i use 2 liters turned into each other, the roots grow through the bottleneck each chamber has its own air supply any comments or note???. im not new to growing but there are areas of my knowledge that are lacking. i use Full Spectrum LED panels, low wattage and a few spare cfls just for filler light

like the ingenuity but how does that work with full grown plants?
