You can just "salt out" alcohol from regular vodka or whatever. There's YouTube videos on it. Basically add a bunch of salt and the alcohol floats on top the water. Apparently you shouldn't use iodized table salt though. Actually potassium carbonate works best but isn't as common as salt. Some salt does get in the alcohol though, so you would need further purification, like running it through a dionizer filter, like a ZeroWater filter.
