Where do you keep your weed?

Simple, where do you keep your weed? I'm trying to find a nice solution to my problem, I have family coming over and I don't want them to smell my weed because they don't like the smell and I usually put them in jars but after a while the smell likes leaks through,what are some good alternatives? Bonus points for creativity!

Check out smelly proof baggies will save your life. I bought mine from Aqua Lab Technologies web page. Just search their name. 25 baggies that I handed out to all of my friends. I still have 5 for myself.

use a glass mason jar, or one of those plastic jar with a locking lid they sell at wall mart for a couple bucks. they are air tight and lock in the smell. this also is good for curing buds in.

Maybe the seals on your jars are no good. I've been using glass jars for years, and no odors escape my jars. I do have to change the seals/lids every so often though.

A good trick is to use mason jars. But to get a good seal, pack them in a warm place, then store them in a refrigerator. The warm air inside will cool, and create negative pressure in the jar (the air "shrinks", pulling the rubber seal on the lid tightly against the rim). Not foolproof by any means, but it works in a pinch if you don't have a vaccuum sealer.

at walmart or target they have food storing jars that are clear and are really air tight. i cant find the link but i got one at target in the jar section. its about 8 dollars but can hold an o. its like the tightvac jars. you have to squeeze things to open it very effective

how much weed we talking here? If your concerned of smell because of family, I would not have the weed on the premises. Or not have the family there. There is lots of wonderful hiding spots outdoors that could be tooken advantage of. If were talking a lot of weed, why not go rent a storage locker and put your weed in there, safe under lock and key.

Weird but true...I had a friend that would stash his in a 'fake cat box' He put ziplocks in a litter pan and put a bunch of tootsie rolls in the litter. If anyone asked where the cat was he would say it was an outdoor cat. He actually hated cats. But the odor was masked and I don't think anyone was going to inspect his cat box for weed.

Thanks guys! I think it's just my jars that are awful, I plan on buying some of those Mason jars, it's not that they don't know I smoke, I just think it's common courtesy to keep the odor at a minimal level, I know I love the smell but some people smell it like a skunk attack which is puts some at unease. I don't like baggies, makes me feel like I'm dealing. Anyone have any creative secret hiding spots? One of my friend has a small box behind a picture in his room, it's too clever.

Is a food saver bag that has been vacuum sealed a good place to store bud...the reason I ask is b/c it is air tight....doesn't bud need some kind of air circulation?

Foodsaver bags will prevent any smell from coming out. Like any other bag though if you touch the bud and then the outside of the bag you will leave a "fingerprint" if you want to call it that. What i recommend (this is what i do)... i seal the bottom of the bag, put my bud in it, seal the top, leaving room on top for whenever i open and reseal. take most of the air out, not enough to crush the weed, and then i'll rinse the outside of the bag with some rubbing alcohol and water... the bags are airtight and waterproof. every time you go to open it your gonna cut the top off take out as much bud as you need and then seal it again.

for mason jars their is an attachment;

once you put your weed in the mason, put the top lid on and then the attachment, it will suck all the air out of the mason jar... once its done take off the attachment and put the top lock on the mason jar. whenever you want to open it just use a can opener with a round edge and your good to go

smell is gone

aslong as their is no moisture in the bud, i never worry about air
