where can i find a digital ph tester for under $20

ive been all over the net..i cant find a decent digital ph tester at or around $20...a ph tester isnt advanced technology and i cant see paying the high prices im seeing for these things...i can find them cheap on ebay...but they are all hong kong listings..which ive ordered from before and waited 40 days to get my stuff.im not waiting that long to start my next grow..and i want everything perfect this time.ive got the liquid solution testers now...but after adding in my nutes it changes the water color making it hard to get a real reading off of it.so if anyone knows where i can get a cheap tester..and fast...please drop a link.. +rep for anyone that hooks me up

A digital tester under 20$ will likely be a real piece of crap. While a Ph tester itself isn't necessarily advanced technology, accurately converting a ph test to a digital readout without any result fluctuation during a long lifetime really can be. Any good digital tester will come with either a calibration solution or at least instructions for making a calibration solution. Since you want everything perfect this time, since a Ph tester is a one-time purchse if you buy a good one, and if you plan to keep growing afterward, imho you'll be happiest investing this once in the good stuff and having a tool you can trust for a long time.
