Warm & Moist + just enough light so the plant figures out which way is UP.

You might loosen the top layer of soil and investigate more closely. Be very careful. Just peel away enough soil to see whats going on, and make it easier for the seedling to bust out.

I have had seedlings that popped in 1 day. Those came equipped with their own set of problems. Really bad elongation & stretching. I would much rather have the problem you are having than aggressive stretching.

no clue what kinda soil cuz i just took some out of my dads plant's pot, he had one of those indoor plants that just grow like vines or something and leaves NOT MJ.
soil may be to dense or to hot, it could have burned it. seeds are very sensitive to there soil, you need to start them in seed starting soil, then transplant into a good potting soil once they have grown.

ther is special soil for starting plants

id say normal time for germed seed placed in soil about 1/4 inc down takes 2 to 7 days thats on a heating pad @ 80 degrees under a fl0uresent light (my set up)

to make things a little quicker i now cover with plastic wrap and a rubberband maybe one or two small holes in it untill it breaks soil then i remove plastic its like a little green house water and heating pads makes moisture they love moisture

good luck

hey unshaved... some of these people might be telling you the right thing.. but some of them that I've read.. some of them are clueless as to what they're talking about bro.

If you need help, please feel free to msg me.

You may have planted the seed too deep.. or it could be other issues.

but again, if your still needing help feel free to msg me buddy.

I see your from my home state of N.J.!! Nice..

peace.

I just use the same soil throughout my grow. No problems.
what are you comparing yours to? some soils are to hot and will burn a seed very quickly. using some dirt from your fathers old plant in the corner isn't going to produce very well.
but what do i know,I only own a hydro store.

I just put 3 easy ryders and 3 diesel ryders down a half inch to an inch in Miracle grow moisture control soil and the easy ryders pop'd through the surface in less than 24hrs the diesel's pop'd through within 48 hours. Not typical of my previous grows though. I credit the fast growth to good genetics as thats the only difference between previous grows and this one.
