Im gowing to be growing outdoors, but am starting my seeds inside untill theres no more snow....I was hopeing to keep them inside until i knew if they were males or females, but then heard i wouldn't know that until they would be in the ground. How long does it take to find out? Will it still be posiable to start them inside, and then beable to just move my females out when its time?
thanks

yea, you can start inside and go outside. uhh u will know in time if they are females. i dont know how to explain how to tell, but i kno. just do a search for sexing. im sure u will find a post about determining the sex of the plant

I have one plant that I can tell is female after 2 months of vegg. in a scrog. The other plant, I can't tell. So I'm flowering clones of each plant to make sure. You can tell a week into flower If your on a 24/0 cycle then switch to 12/12. Google some male and female plants and you will see. Males have little pods. Females produce hairs....(pistils)...good luck

they wont show sex on there own for a while 4 mounths or so, but you can force flowering by changing lights to 12hr on 12hr off
iff you want to transplant outside and you already changed lights to 12/12 but its early summer or spring the naturaly longer days will shock plants back to vegitative growth witch will continue untill the days shorten to 12hr naturaly in the late summer
if you wait till the plants flower naturaly they wont get shocked witch can add 2-4 weeks to the total grow time to harvest

I can see that I have 1 female for sure on my grow..it didnt take 4 months to tell without flowering..I could tell after about 6 weeks..2 months of 24/0 light schedule so far.. I haven't seen pistils yet but they have long narrow calyxes. Not pod shaped. So I'm sure it will be female. The other plant I have I can't tell yet. It could go either way.
