When to transplant into 5 gal smarties?

I'm on day 40 and I plan on vegging for 60-65 or until I have 16 good tops on my girls... When should I throw them into the pots with the SS mix in there?

I would usually like to give a week-10 days minimum for transplants before flower, just be gentle and when new growth continues as normal flip.

Why not transplant now? If you wait too long you wont' make much use of the new soil in flower.

now, if you have room for it... the longer you can have them in there the better.

Well won't the SS be used up too soon? Maybe I missed the concept...

They are in 1gal right now. Would I need to prune the roots any?

Also since I'm on a question tangent my plan is to take 2 hours out of their light time every week down to 12/12? Is this a bad plan? I've already made the switch from 20/4 to 18/6

don't complicate things too much, just switch to 12/12

The SS wont get "used up" until the plant wants it, that's the thing about SS. it'a all about nailing your ratios.

You need a "help dabumps" thread man. you start a new thread for every question you have, and fill others threads with the same questions. And there is a lot of them. Folks dont mind helping you, but most of your questions are easily found in a search. Im sure folks in this forum would be more then willing to stop by your "help dabumps" thread, and lend you a hand, just to not see so many new ones.
