When to switch to 12/12? *PICS*

Hey, just wondering if it would be advisable to go ahead and switch to 12/12? Its like a month old, and it was growing slow at first, then i topped. now it formed two branches on top and a whole lot more undergrowth is happening. Heres some pics, it is pretty small still though.

2-4 weeks....imo

The longer you veg them, the bigger the plants will be when flowering. A good rule of thumb is that the plants will double, maybe even up to triple in size when done flowering. So the issue really becomes one of grow room space. If you've got a space for them to grow as high as they can, let them veg for 2 months instead of one.

I've got a BlueBerry grow going (my second grow) and I'm letting them veg for 2 months cause I'm growing in a 5 foot high cabinet. They look leafy and are really starting to take off now at week 5. My plant is about 9 inches tall right now, so I'm going for the highest yield possible by letting them veg for 2 months.

cool, yeah i really only have a good 2-3 ft. of space to grow up, because of lights hanging, and 2-3 ft on every side to walls. Should i veg longer and try to FIM?

I'd let them veg at least a couple more weeks, then switch to 12/12 lighting. If the plant does get to close to the lights then you can slowly bend them horizontal. Again, more vegetation means bigger plants means bigger buds, generally. I made a mistake on my first grow not vegging enough (they were smaller than yours when I started flowering) and all I got were TINY buds, not worth all the time I put into it.

alright, thanks for looking out. I figured it would be a couple more weeks. I dont have the flowering cfls anyways so ill just take my time and but those. I can get them at like lowe's and home-of-de-pot right?

Or you can try and do LST if growth height is an issue..also has high yield potential..i am trying it for the first time on some plants it seems to be workin great

I finally got some soft white 2700k cfls added to my othe lights. Does anyone have any ideas where i could hook up like up to eight cfls instead of just four. Heres the pics of the current setup.

I vegged for about 3/12 weeks until the plant was about ten inches.Flowered, and the plant when up to 13 inches. The other two plants i am flowering with it shot up to 18 inches. Are you planning on trimming the top?

but it looks like u could adjust the Y adapters to get much more light. I have a similar light set up with Y adapters and I literally can spend an hour moving them around and all that to get the best lighting possible.

yeah i didnt really think about that, I'll have to try adjusting them in a better position.

aight well i just got back from spring break and my roomate looked over my baby for me but i think he overwatered her. she lloked perfect before i left now she lookes like she was overwatered. what should i do?

OK so i am maybe thinking it is rootbound? her stem is pretty thick so i bet she has some big roots, plus with this plant i didnt pour alot of soil in the pot for some reason. So, im going to take her out and add more soil to see if that helps.

I would leave it a few more weeks b4 you go into 12/12 mate.

For more lights try getting one of the frames that go round those mirrors you see in the movies. Those hold upto 5 bulbs each, I got mine in the UK. If you get a couple of them could you run them on the top of your room??

yeah i know i need one desperately. my plant is looking more and more horrible and droopy as the days go on. someone tell me wassup? Like i said earlier i left for a week and a half and my roomie watered her for me, which i think he messed it up. i thought it was overwatered, but she was dry when i first got home on sunday, and he said he hadnt watered since the following friday so that doesnt make sense. I just transplanted into more soil. heres some pics. please help i really wanna save her!
