Using happy frog soil for my autos. 3 gallon containers. When do they use up the nutes for those of you who use happy frog for autos. This is my first time not transplanting. Should I give half strength to every other feeding with fox farm trio.

That soil should carry you several weeks in those containers. I'm not sure exactly how long, but you should check out the fox farms soil thread in the autos section.
I believe it was @Budzbuddha that made a great and informative thread on it.

start using nutrients in the "seedling" stage of grow with reduced rates no matter if auto, photo, reg Consider getting a good root stimulator !!
Just when it's a baby? Won't that overdose it with nutes? From what I read it comes with nutes already in the soil to last atleast 3-4 weeks. These are autos to which means there more sensitive to nutes. A seedling plant doesn't need nutes right away. Mabe in coco...

Happy Frog is a milder form so it may tap out quicker ( strain dependent ) however not a big fan of the Trio line.

If you are running autos do this ….

Grab a bag of Ocean Forest - add a cup or two to topdress your happy frog / water in.

Or use a tablespoon or so if Dry Fertilizer ( Roots Organic Grow / Bloom ) and scratch that into top soil / water in.

Ridiculously simple.

The Ocean Forest “ topdress “ method is all that is needed to feed / recharge your base medium. PLUS … it has all the goodies in it already to feed thru harvest. ( With nothing else . )

Dry Fertilizer method - either the brand above or megacrop / Dr. Earth / Happy Frog Fruit Flower or even a standard 5-5-5 / 4-4-4 garden fertilizer.

Autos do not need complicated feeds. You are only trying to sustain it for about a 100 days give or take.
No stupid sweetners / multi bottle lines of feed or cartoon labeled crap.

Last piece of advice - run autos past estimated harvest time - those “ 8 week “ claims are bullshit.

TREAR THE AUTOS THE SAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run autos in 2-3 gallon pots with FFOF. I plant the seed in the middle within a baseball size batch of seedling starting mix in the middle. I don't need to add ANY nutrients until at least week 4-5. Most autos will almost run to end stage in a 5 gallon pot with heavily enriched/amended soils.

Try the @Budzbuddha method. I’ve consistently had problems after adding liquid nutes, and autos can be quite sensitive to them. Had my most successful grow last run keeping it simple as described. I used Dr. Earth for the top dressing. Added it around week three figuring the plant would be able to use the new additions around week four, right when they seem to need it, as flowering begins, etc.
