When to plant rooted clone

I just rooted my first clone ever!!!! It took 11 days and I just put it in tap water, no rooting hormone, no dome. Just in a shot glass with tap water on a window sill.
I can just barely see some roots growing from the cut site. When should I put it in soil and is there anything special I should do? I have fox farms OF soil.

I would wait till the roots are just a little longer, then plant,in ur medium. if ur using soil or soiless I would use general hydroponics RapidStart or I useAdvance Nutriants Pirana. And 1/4 strength of ur veg nutriants. and keep medium moist until u see new growth on clone(when roots take hold). Im sure other members have other ideas. That's just how I do it. good luck.

Thanks for the reply, Shaggy. Do you think it will need a dome or since it's been fine without one for so long just leave it off? I will plan on planting it this weekend.

I know!! I thought I would try just water with my first topping scrap just to see. It might have a lot to do with the strain. Skunk #11. I've heard it's pretty hardy. I did trim half the leaves off though, but that's it. Cut at an angle near node, trim fan leaves, put in tap water on window sill. I changed the water about 5 days in and then I first saw roots 11 days from cutting. I can't really believe it either. I hope it survives in the soil. It never did wilt or turn yellow. Let me know if it works for you!

when you transfer into your soil get a bottle of coke (2ltr) and cut it in half and use the bottom end over the top of the clone so cut bit touches the soil for greenhouse effect, always works for me with clones :)

Your clone seems to thriving in 100% humidity, so whatever medium you put her in make sure it is something real porous that holds a lot of water. Those little roots are used to lots of water. Don't disappoint them. If you use dirt make sure you include 25-30% perlite for water retention. BigSteve.

Thanks to all! My little lady had a little root explosion overnight! It's been about 11 days since I moved her from the water to soil and 22 days total since she was clipped. I am sure this is longer than normal but I think it's pretty good for not using any rooting chemicals. Just water! I took her dome off today. Hopefully she will adjust nicely. Here she is:
