When to plant outside?

The weather here in Canada has been great so far so I have been putting my lil plants in the back yard and they seem to do being very well. the plants all have 4 fan leaves on the bottom and are starting on the second row of fan leaves.

So my question is how big should I get the plant befor I plant them in the forest?

Thanks: Willie North:peace:

Look at the FAQ and there was something in there about planting in Canada and the last frost dates.

Just check your weather for the week and look for that last frost and some reasonable temps.

Plant your plants so they DONT get morning sunlight..you will have some frosts overnight in canada and your plants will be real cold in the morning.. this will allow them to warm up a bit before the hot sun is directly on them

Thats why don't get the morning lights on the plants when the plants has water drops on it, it acts like a magnifier, and will brun your leafs!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I read so much misinformation on this site I sometimes wonder if half the people have ever grow outside. When you get an afternoon shower & it clears up with the sun at max intensity do you think your plants will burn up because of water drops on your plants?

I will have to agree with the statement above.
This season is my first attempt at starting a garden. From what I have experienced so far, my plants thrive if beads of water are present between nodes or on top of leaves. I also receive better results if the sun is present and more intense. Bellow are pictures I have taken to show that your theory is wrong. No offense and please correct me if need be.

Notice beads of water.
Plant 1

Not only are these beads of water, they are beads of purified water.
This water is much cleaner then rain, outside or even tap water.
Cleaner water would cause stronger and more
precise magnification of the sun.

Notice health.
Plant 2

This is another healthy plant. I use the same techniques as Plant 1
in the picture above. Notice the leaves aren't burnt nor deformed.

If I continue to do well, I will post more pictures and maybe even start a journal... Wish me luck!

Nice pics man
and yeah I dont really think lil water droplets will burn the plant

My plants have been growing for 2 - 3 weeks now, should I move them to the grow plot??

i moved mine at 1 month, and i think the growth really slowed down for the last week or so before i transplanted. Id say move them now because once they start growing in the better soil they will explode.

Ok man thanks.
yeah I have all my plants in 4X4 plastic pots and they roots are already starting to come out the bottom. its amazing how vast the root system is on just a lil plant!
