When to harvest pics

Trichome color determines when to harvest...not pistils (hairs) color.

a lot o growers go by eather or. i myself go by hair collor if the plant is 75 to 80 percent red hairs i know to cut it. my smoke is still bomb and can put you down. its all on your own taste.

A lot of growers do go by hair but they are wrong. These are the noob growers. You have to go by the trichomes. My bubba kush has all red hairs at like 35 days. Does that mean it is ready to cut down? The trichomes dont start turning brown and dying on it till like day 72 but you could cut it at 56 when it just starts to show some amber ones or wait a week or 2. Its all about when you want to do it but you cant rush. Some strains may have the hair turn color at the right time but you cannot always go off of this you will soon learn as you grow more strains.

noobs? ive ben growing for 5 years and have grown my fair share of strains. if your plant hairs are 80 percent red at 35 days then thers some thing wrong or maybe im just lucky but im not wrong.

Hair (pistil) color only tells you when the calyx is no longer viable to be fertilized. It has nothing to do with the buzz...and there's plenty of resin production and swelling of the flower to come after the hairs turn. Don't short your production's quantity or quality by chopping too early.
