lol...hope you have some room for it to flower in...plants when going into flowering will double even tripple in size. You can induce flowering now if you want. Generally you want to look for preflowers and that the nodes are starting to interchange...meaning that they don't grow exactly oppisite each other, they will look staggered, that usually means the plant is mature enough to start flowering.

yeah is looks like it. Yeah my plant has little leaves where the stems meet the stalk. also, some if the leaves are curling very slighty around the edges. Is my PH off, or am i giving it too much nutrients?

Your curling leaves mean either heat stress or nute def.

Also too...if your going to be growing with cfl's...i'd get about 5 more of those things of the size of your plant. That pic of the plant i showed you...i grew it with 7 CFL's. Look at my gallery to see it in full.

i had all 27W CFL's. 5 of them were what's called daylight, which is rated at 6500K, and the other 2 i had were cool white 4100K. I just bought them from Home Depot. Having a little bit of spectrum mix is good for your plants, but be sure to have more blue spectum then red when your vegging. So...let's say your going to have 6 lights...make sure that 4 of them will be 6500K and the other 2 can be either the warm white 2700K or the cool white 4100K.

When you switch to flowering get the 42W warm white 2700K cfl's, you'll want about 5 of those as well, and for good measure you can throw in a few of the bulbs you already have, but be sure to concentrate on the red end of the spectrum for flowering, so for 6 lights...make 4 2700K, and the other 2 either the 4100K or the 6500K...i'd say if you had both those spectrums to use 1 each...1 4100K and 1 6500K.

yeh ive thought about that. But none of the bulbs i bought indicated the light spectrum. One is pretty flat white but the other two have kind of a yellowish light.

Usually they will say warm white...cool white...or daylight on the package. My cfl's even have the spectrum rating on the ballast itself, as well as white "colour" they are...being cool white and daylight.

Here's a pic of one of the lights with the colour rating on it.

A pack of 2 were 9.99 of the cool white, and the daylights were 12.99...i live in Canada also, so things where you live...assuming the US...will be cheaper.

At wal mart not too long ago they were selling 3 26W daylights 6500k for 9.99 and 26 w soft whites somewhere around 1500-1750 lumens for 74 cents. It was tight.
