When the ratio of the sound of your air fans to the sound they make dictate jailtime

what kind of fan would you suggest? I meant to say to the ratio of the effectiveness, and don't know how to delete posts

What are you like growing in someones house? Why would the small sound of a fan alert people...do you not worry about smell and light a lot more?
I like box fans..I'm cheap and they're effective..20" ,3000cfm 20bucks or less...a lot of people around here have them in widows too

Panasonic Whisper Quiets are quality fans for a shitload of money [$100]. You could just buy a box fan ^ and muffle it for $10 worth of supplies too.

You can build enclosures to muffle any fan really.

I like box fans too, I like them even more when sometimes I can grab one in Salvation Army.

The trick to running a fan quietly is to use largest diameter you can, and slow it down with voltage regulator, it will still move lots of air due to its larger diameter, but with very little noise.
