When should i transplant my seedling?

I only ask because i planted these seeds in very small containers and will probably need to transplant soon. But this is basically its first day out of soil completely so i obviously don't wana do it to early. any idea on when i should transplant?

the container is basically the size of a small rockwool cube

i like mine getting a good root system going before i transplant. in my opnion, not waiting long enough between transplant leads to over watering because there isnt enough roots to absorb all the water in the soil for whatever size pot you got.

A pretty good rule of thumb is to let the leaves grow to, or preferably a little bit beyond the lip of your container. Like let a plant in 4" pot get to 5"

You want a good root mass that holds together when you transplant.

Whatever size container I start my seeds in; I let the roots fill it up enough to hold the the growing medium together during transplant. In my my experience this reduces transplant shock and promotes root growth growth and development into new "home". Another thing, start seedlings in the same media you plan to transplant into. Hope this helps.
