get you a microscope ,60x is fine, and it's up to you, if your trics are cloudy than it will fall on the head high side and if it's amber more couch lok stone, imo it's best half cloudy and half amber. hope this helps

yes there is, I never used one until recently were I just started my indoor grow, but I've growed outdoors for 15 yrs and the best way is when pistols are 60 to 80% red, orange etc and when your calax have swelled to the max

I can't use a loupe either. I tried when I first started growing (my parents always used them just fine), but my eyes aren't good enough to really see amber trichomes good thru a loupe. So I switched to a USB microscope. If you can afford one, buy one. They are worth the money, IMHO.

Which brand are you using as far as the USB microscope

ZB is correct USB is the way to go I got mine for $22 it's called the innolife best investment ever, you can take still shots of what you're looking at. Go to Amazon and search USB microscope, they even have one for the 420 community.

BTW your babies look great, nice job & happy toking!

Awesome looks like ill go with this one

how is the ratings?

do you use a specific software with this ?
I'm using it and it works great, what I love most is the focusing wheel on the barrel, use the the low setting it gets up close and very clear also there is a cover you need to take off to get a better view, and don't worry it has its own software that you run on your laptop (will not work on tablets) I check my tricks, and also my buddies just run the included software, my buddy got rid of his loupe and ordered one immediately.
BTW the ratings were great but sometimes you have to check things yourself...take it from your fellow 420 member, the shit is off the hook, you won't be disappointed.

Just measured mine, it is 54" (4 feet 8 inches) and it also has a rolling control knob for the led light (that's the hump on the wire). Just run the small size cd that comes with it on lap top or desktop pc.
