if its outside it will do it on its own dont need to do anything!! some people will cover them up an hour early every night to speed up the budding but theres no need to do that!! mother nature will do it for you!! time is all you need time

Preflower is what you get just before buds show. It is also a way to sex your plant if needed ( from seed not clone) it's within the first two weeks of 12 hours of sunlight or light and 12 hours of darkness. If you want to bud now all you have to do is bring the plant indoors for 12 hours of darkness then outside for 12 hours of sun and so on. Make sure it's completly dark when indoors and vent the area and mabey even a small osalating fan on low. That's a buitiful plant goodluck:-)

Those plants are not 5 months old....maybe 5 weeks,,,are you sure they are females?
If those have been outdoors for 5 months they should be 6 feet tall and wide.....
in one hour of reading a "growing marijuana for beginners" you would be full of knowledge.
Marijuana is a weed...it grows like a weed if you don't kill it with kindness. I dig holes in the winter and fill them with a mixture of lime, peat, compost and manure.....thats it! plant the starts after the last frost and water them.
These are 3 months old....all over 6 foot...grown on the west coast

Word... If they are that old and in those pots they are probably rootbound and should be transplanted to avoid any more shock. Also you may not want to take pics at night with the flash. Plants like a period of uninterrupted darkness.
