ive just started growing and ive notice that i have plenty of left over leaves from pruning i was wondering if it possible to smoke them or cook them. Also at what stage does the plant produce thc. Do i have to wait untill the flowering stage or can i use the leaves from the first prunning

you have to wait till the flowering stage for anything worth your time smoking. and i would give it 25 to 30 days before trying a sample maybe longer. good luck

You can use the leaves and mak hash. But dont ask me how, couldnt tell ya. But i do know it is very time consuming.

Look in the Q&A for quick hash making. Save your leaves. Its all good for hash.

Why the hell are you pruning leaves??? Leave those plants alone, unless the leaves are yellow and falling off they are producing the food to make your plant grow. pruning stresses the plant and can make it a hermy and definitely stunts plant growth. THC is in the resin glands mostly and there is virtually nothing in the big fan leaves

I think you would be better off just growing weed the way we talk about it. There are no shortcuts or cheats in this game. Just do it the right way, hash is optional. Sometimes I call this guy who runs a crack house and he will have some crack heads pick up my leaves. I sell it dirt cheap if not even free sometimes.

That sounds sketch to have crack heads anywhere near your place man maybe give it to a stoner instead ✌️But really do what you want I'm not your mom off topic I know sorry to the OP

Don't bother. The leaves are good for compost...that's about it. Unless you know some really dumb crackheads that will pay you for them just toss em out lol. Cannabinoids are produced from week 2 to about week 6 of flowering but the compounds are not even active until the final weeks. You can run some early bud (maybe say week 8 or 9 for an Indica dom but no earlier) into hash or oil if you want but it's really much better to let it mature on the plant & harvest all at the same time. Patience is rewarded in this game...

It has thc from day one, it don't matter what stage it's at, that's why you can see triclones on the stalk, leafs, right away

if it wasn't active you wouldn't get high smoking a plant that didn't even finish it just won't be as potent..

Sorry to burst your bubble sir, but trichomes do not appear until the cannabis plant is flowering. It is the trichomes that contain THC. Ever try to smoke leafs or stems prior to flowering? (or at any time for that matter). Did you get high or a headache?

THC comes from the roots. You've gotta boil the roots to get to the THC.
