When Does Life Begin ...

The only thing that most pro-lifers (am personally one myself, but it's a personal opinion and I don't push it off on others) can pull out of the Bible is "Thou Shalt not Kill". But otherwise there is nothing in the bible that says anything about a woman's reproductive rights.
And "Thou Shalt Not Kill" isn't enough for you, Dank? Can you find the Bible passage that says: "Thou shalt not kill .... except in the case that ...."

I think that everyone should have a certain amount of morals, but I don't think that ones faith should be pushed off onto others.

Do I have faith? Yes, but it's a personal thing and I don't push it off onto others.
Just like I am Pro-life, but I don't think I should be pushing that off onto other because it is the law of the land on a federal level, if changes are to be made to the law, it should be on the state level.
This country has more important things to do that to keep going over an issue that is a dead horse on the federal level.
When the Abortion issue comes up on the federal level, you need to start looking at what the Government is trying to pull in the background.
It's one of the bait and switch techniques the government uses to distract the nation.

Vi with your logic the death penalty should be illegal.
But then you will use the verse that says"an eye for an eye" but then you will neglect that is says after that "Vengance is mine sayeth the lord"

Please point out when and where you put me in my place.
It never happened. end of story.
Took me awhile, since the search engine is bugged, but I found one thread of the many we had

https://www.rollitup.org/politics/71681-more-worst-president.html

This was during the time where we debated across several threads and I had quite the list of unanswered questions you were failing to acknowledge and it ended up with something as in.."I'll let those threads die as long as you don't keep provoking me" and you been good until now. Once the search engine comes back I'll reacquaintance them to you if you wish.

Is that all you got? Please... You were put In your place in that thread not only by me, but also by VXTDave.
You never proved your point of WMDs in that thread, Try again... Like I said before your a legend in your own mind.
I never answered your questions because you were beating a dead horse and they weren't worth addressing.
No amounts of WMDs were found in quantities that were worth starting a war over.

BTW is your daddy still feeding you bullshit about what's gong on over there... Oh and is your daddy still electrocuting soldiers over there with his shoddy workmanship?

You were terrible in all those threads, Dank, you proved nothing and you ran from my questions. There were more than one reason to going to Iraq, not just WMDs, wonder when you will understand this..

Hows your mom, Dank?

I didn't run from your questions and WMDs was the reason The President gave for going over there.
I didn't figure that your questions were worth answering because you were beating a dead horse in that thread.. Dave even pointed that out...

My mom is out of the hospital and resting comfortably, Thanks for asking.

1. Define life. When does a mass of tissue earn the "right" to live.Tell mother nature you have "right" to live. Why aren't ALL living things protected by the conservatives? 2. What about those wolves Palin wants to gun down?
1. When the sperm enters the egg the spark of life begins. This isn't religion, its science.

2. Wolves look at the Caribou as protein. The wolves, if left unchecked, decimate the Caribou herds. Native Alaskans are after the same protein that the wolves are. They are in competition with the wolves for that protein. If you don't cull the wolves, you starve the natives. What it comes down to is simple wildlife management. Hard for city slickers like you and I to understand, I know ... but that's just the way it is. :-?

So you're saying a sperm isn't alive? It's non-living? And yet, it is mobile, has its own propulsion system, has a goal, and competes with others to reach the goal first. If that's not alive, what is it? What's your definition of life, that a sperm doesn't meet it?

For the record the word 'spermatozoa' has two Greek roots, sperm = semen and zoon = alive. So, the 'spark of life' is there before the sperm touches the egg. You've got a billion 'sparks of life' in your nutsack itching to hit the town and pick up some eggtang.

Vi, I'm no city slicker. My dad was a hunter, and a damn good one.I understand about culling the packs...but the way she's doing it is wrong.Republicans, Sarah included, arent exactly known for their concern for wildlife or their responsibility to the environment.

Actually, that's when cells start dividing and you have a cellular structure in the womb. when the newborn (Heavy on the word "BORN") baby takes it's first breath, that's when God breaths life and spirit into that gigantic mass of cells. Untill then, there is no real consciesness, I don't care what L Ron Hubbard says. JMHO.

As to Definition number one.
Your wrong, that is when cells start to divide, there is yet to be any spark of life, a brain or a heart.

Number two is an argument for abortion.

life begins when the umbilical cord is cut. every second before that the "baby" is merely an extention of the mother.

It does not become a "self" until removed from the mother
