so my baby has been flowering for a good little bit now and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea how much longer.

this is her on aug 11th and a bud shot close up of today nov 15th

i have no microscope to see the trics and most of the hairs are still white but it just seems she should be ready by now. any advice would be nice

Sir, 3-4 weeks. at least.

The wait is phenomenal, but worth it.

general rule of harvest. 75% amber trichs, and brown hairs.

yeah the wait is brutal, every day it crosses my mine to go chop her down but I know if I just wait another week it'll be worth it and then you start thinking you got to dry and cure. Man I can't wait to get a hold of that bud

but i am already over 3 months into flower i was told about 60-90 days flower time?

i know she isn't ready but i was hoping someone could give me a time cause like i said by what i was told i should be curing by now.

Yeah I got to agree with Tokesalot with the three weeks because none of the hairs are red/brown and the buds look like they can fill in a lot.

By the way what lighting are you using sir?

Peace

2 cfl 100 watt
2 cfl 125 watt

is that really not enough light for one plant. i'm out of resources though so won't be able to add light or anything like that. so another month you say then. i have to chop her by dec 15th i think it is. just hope she is ready enough.

that should be plenty of light. but don't go by the hairs... if possible try to invest in maybe a cheap kids microscope or usb one or magnifying glass or something to see the trichomes cause thats the most accurate way to tell when they are ready. the general rule of thumb is to chop them when the trichomes are almost totally amber and the hairs are curling into the resin glands.:blsmoke:

i thought that would be plenty of light for just one plant just can't figure out why it is taking so long. and i hope it is worth it.

How far away are your CFL's? they should be one to two inches away from the plant, a good test to do is to put your hand in between the plant and bulb for 30-60 seconds and if your hand can't take the heat then it's too hot for your plant.

cfl's dont have a high penetration rate so it takes time just be patient. did you use 6500k for veg and 2500k right now for flower.

also, it looks very sativa. sativa often take a long long time to finish but the wait will be worth it.

Sorry man, but as it has been stated allready, your lighting is an issue.
would you care to explain? from what i understand he has 2 100 and 2 125 watt bulbs that are cfl and those type of bulbs normally run at around 8,000 lumens per bulb and he has 4 so 450 watts and 24,000 lumens roughly seems suitable to grow with.

Sure will.

Look at the openness of the bud sites. There is no densitity to your buds which is caused by a few things, top two being not enough light or to far awayfrom the source of light. CFL's gotta be literally few inches from the plant and no light escaping from your growroom, or your result turns into one of your pics.

The 2nd pic in your 1st post should be like 5-6 weeks, not 3 months.

Your plant is stressed, I say learn from the mistakes and come at it headstrong next time, mate.

i like the sound of the wait will be worth it but it sounds like this was a waist of my time. i don't know the bulbs are nice and close to the plant. top cola is more dense than the rest. but she smells beautiful and fruity as shit. the way she smells seems i could smoke her now and be happy. but i will wait i will also try to find some time today to take more pics so you guys can see more of the plant. she is much more full not than a month ago so i know she is still growing just a little slow. if i had the resources i would add light i just can't right now. but next grow will be much better.

ok first off yea density will be decreased compared to hps but did you ever think to look at the plant and see what kind of strain it is or are you just assuming your thoguhts because that plant is a sativa and they are known to have whispy buds even if his lights close to it witch is why indica is better indoor crop. number 2 he has his lights plenty close to them so idk what your talking about. how is his plant stressed? his plant is healthy looking and growing decent buds and its not male or hermie. the only mistake he could make would be listening to your negative comments. as far as i know he asked how much longer till harvest not what he did wrong or what you think he did wrong. keep it up man it looks good another 3 weeks and they will be getting just right.:blsmoke:
