When do trichomes show up?

When should I expect to see some trichome production? These are three weeks into flower. NL/WW cross.

Those buds still have a ways to develop, easily 6-8 weeks to go. Towards the end of flowering the plant will begin to produce resins. At that point, you'll see trichomes.

Well 3-4 weeks on most some take longer usually more sativa genetics tend to take longer for the trichs to show up.

Trichomes show up at about 14 days, they should be very prominent by 21 days.


I have access to great genetics, but ime, which is alot, this is generally true.

Thanks for the responses folks. I'm just starting to see some trikes using a 20X jeweler's loup. I'm beginning to wonder if I've ever smoked any weed that compares and is worth the quality of care I've provided this grow over the last 8 weeks. I have a very discreet grow, but I'm starting to wonder if this is really gonna be worth the trouble of my asshole being puckering on a continual basis. I live in a state that considers anything over 5 grams a fucking felony. Please tell me this is gonna be worth it!

A 6g FELONY? In my state anything less than 28.5g gets you a nice yellow ticket & a court date......... Ya know, so you can get your misdemenor discharged.

May just pull roots and sing "California here I come" like Al Jolson. If I can't grow a little Jane in my own hootch, then I'm not sure that this country is worth fighting for like I did for 20 years.
