First how big you want your plant to be?... Mine i vegged them for 6-7 weeks almost 2 feet tall then I switched them to flower 12/12.
How tall is your plant?
These pictures were taken when it was their first day in the flowering room. Like I said most of the plants were almost 2 feet tall. Now they are 4 feettall and growing. So i am guessing they will end up been 5 feet tall at the most.

Ok i want to help now! If ur growing from seed wait a month or so, so it can mature then switch your lights. Next time get clones if u dont want to wait 20 years.

Well I'll tell you what. With writting like that, maybe you should read and learn to articulate your words without sounding like you're 10. And it's one thing to joke a mofo about his/her thread, but it's an entirely different thing to tell someone to shoot themselves...you're a fucking idiot, and we don't need your kind here. If you can't act right and want to take your anger out on someone, go slap your mother or father for not raising you properly.
Now with that said, we've had some people here that were banned from this site for less, and some were givin' a chance to apologize for not only being stupid, but for opening their mouths and proving that their stupid, maybe you should start acting like an adult and start using your brain for something other than to just fry it.
And to the OP, jamess18, you really need to read and put the time in that all of us did....read, read, read...cause if you did you would know it's best to wait for your plant to show pre flowers and for your nodes to start staggering/alternating instead of being right across from each other to show it's mature or you won't get much a yeild...I do a 6 week minimum veg just to get the desired size I want so I can get 6 ounces+ per plant...
and this is what I get for my patience....

If you have ever smoked some nasty dry mexican grass, and then you finally step up to good quality stuff with a name rather than reggo, you will realize the time spent to make a good harvest is well worth it. I have a friend whose been growing a long time and I tell you what, his herbs have grown to be delicious compared to the first few grows.
So spend the time to give your plants love and care, they will appreciate it and so will you. But some plants won't just FLOWER that quick.sanduskystightNds

To answer your question James, It will probably start to show sex within 21 days, being so young when put into flower it will take a little longer to show sex. Generally a plant will show in 2 weeks. The flowering process could take anywhere from 8-14 weeks depending on the genetics of the plant.
