when can i start flowering?

i have one plant that's roughly 5 weeks old and she's pretty sturdy and tall, has mostly 3 fingered leaves but there are now 4 5 fingered leaves appearing, it's in a big pot and i am growing it with cfl lighting and using nutri plus A and B nutes. when can i start flowering and how long does it flower for? and what's the best way to dry out and harvest bud? also any little tips and tricks on having a bigger yield is supper appreciated. i heard that cutting off all the fan leaves half a week before harvest will increase bud size, will this harm the plant later?

when you go to flower 12/12 your plant will start to flower and show sex in around 3 weeks have you took into account it will double maybe even treble in height, are you also sure its a known female ? you seem to have done a good job to get it to where it is now, it should take around 8/10 weeks to finish and when its finished its best to cut off the branches and trim them down ''removing leaves etc'' then hang up the branch in the dark to dry, that should take around 2 weeks, hope thats of some help to you and welcome to the site.

thanks robinbanks, i have taken this into account and how do i eliminate smell during drying period, also cutting the fan leaves off? will it harm the plant cuz i've heard that it helps for a bigger harvest, pics comming soon

you will never get rid of the smell. some people cut the fan leaves from the very begining and let just the top set grow.... who the fuck knows if this makes a difference? it doesnt hurt the plant... and EVERYONE on here or any site is going to tell you nothing but the good stuff of growing weed. but there is a lot of bad stuff too. i will tell you now that when you do flower make sure it is totally fucking dark!!!! pitch black for 12 hours! dark as the fucking pits of hell. i ordered seeds from holland got them to 5 weeks and put them into flower. planted 5 seeds got 5 girls (will never be that lucky again) but then i had all kinds of light leaks and i turned all 5 of them into hermi's and pollinated the entire fucking crop. so there goes 12 weeks down the drain. but just keep plugging away and learn from the mistakes. dont believe everything you read or hear. learn it for you self, some lessons are harder to learn than others. keep in mind that what you are doing is illegal and dont tell a fucking soul. and good luck.
