my plant is 18 days old from seed and I am using FFOF soil. I am wondering what food or nutes I should add to it at 4 weeks, or whenever it shows sex and goes into 12/12. Also, if I should add anything, what? I am only groin 1 plant & not trying to spend more than $15.

Thanks :)

you will probably have plenty of food for veg and in flower use a well balanced nute every 3rd watering unless they show signs of deficiancy make sure the nutes you use still have some n in addition to the p and k. stay away from something like 12-55-6 you want more of a 2-8-4 they should be close no drastic differances stick to a nute that doesn't have that huge jump from n to p to k and you should be ok

In veg you should not need to feed them, only if you start to see issues. FFOF is very rich in nutes. I feed Botanicare 1-4-5 Pro Bloom nutes in flower along with calmg, Bio Root and sweeteners and bud swellers. If I feed grow nutes in veg the plants just get burnt.

I use ocean forest too. Yep your seedlings can go for 3-4 weeks with out any food. After a month I add a tbs of dried blood to the soil. every month(30 days) feed her. When she goes into flower I add triple phosphate and 1/2 the dry blood she was getting in veg. You can buy the dry blood and triple phosphate really cheap at your garden store. A bag of each will last you a long time, since you only need a little bit each month.
Simple, Cheap, and Easy.

Yes it's inside grow. Dried blood or blood meal can't go wrong. Yes the triple phosphate is just for the flower stage.
I've tried 4 different nutrient lines, and spent alot of money buying nutrients. Spent a lot of time mixing the nutrients. To tell you the truth I get just as good of results with just the dried blood, and triple phosphate. I just follow the feed directions on the bag. I do use "bush master" when I put a plant to flower. It stops her from stretching, and makes your plant go into flower quicker. I also use "snow storm" twords the end of flower it makes your buds tighter and increases trichrome production. Both products are a little pricey, but a bottle of each will last you well over a year. You really don't need them to grow. There just supplements to give your plant a little help.

so not to hi-jack a thread but.. Usually when using ffof soil your SUPPOSED to use it as a transplant soil from veg. Then you don't have to feed 2-4 weeks into flower. Or until they show slight signs of yellow. Then you go half as strong and then later full force. That is if you go by the FF soil schedule. Question is can you use snow storm and something like sweet(botanicare) during the first four weeks with the FFOF soil in flower? Or will it throw the ph off?!

^^^ Yes you can with out any issues. I can feed my vegging plants sweets, calmg and bio root with out issues but once I feed grow nutes they will get nute burn. Always check and adjust the ph of your nute solution and water before feeding. I ph mine to 6.3-6.5 if I keep it any lower I start to get nute lock out.
