When and how to prune plants?

Hello

This is my second year growing. Last year I did pretty well (i think) lol. I grew some plants outside and only got about an ounce off them.

I just started sprouting my seeds in my closet room (so i could get an earlyer start before transferring them outside)

I want to get as much bud as possible from my plants and i kind of get how and when to cutback the tops but im not completly sure.

If anyone has any pictures showing how i would be greatly appreciated :-P

look man, u asked a million questions there.. go to the FAQ page an read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, then use search to get more specific on Q u might have. not to be rude, but you are just lazy for not even trying to read anything. it's all here already, READ

After the 4th node you can pinch off the top. You get 2 upward branches each time you pinch off one. You can do it twice more before flowering as the center stems continue to grow. You can also pinch the side branches if you want it realy thick. Overdo it and you get literally a sea of green.
Ck. the grow faq for pix, etc, but it's a no brainer. just do it like I posted.

so after you pinch off the top four nodes down, do you remove the top? or let it hang there? or what?

if you have to say "not to be rude" then you are just being rude. you shouldn't put a disclaimer on being rude if thats not your intention. very unhelpful to the OP. if you didn't feel like answering the questions the better alternative to looking like an asshole would be to just move along to the next post and let people who are actually here to help comment.

yea i'm new here and have learned tons just by checking out posts of peoples questions and the answers they get! so thanks to everybody that answers questions over and over! :D
