outdoor in the ground my buddy yielded 3-4 lbs per plant of odyssey. his hindu skunk yielded about 3-7 ounces per plant in the ground. his indoors (12 under 2 600watt hps) yielded average of an ounce per plant.

i got a 400w hps, would anyone be able to tell me how much it might max out at? i dont want to waste my time tryin to fit 12 plants under it and get a small yeild. my last grow i had a 3ft wide and 2 3/4ft tall plant and only got about a ounce and a half. i was quite upset seein i spent four months on it.

your max out should be an ounce per plant. thats my rule of thumb at least.

would this be no matter how many plants are under it or is this for the 12 plants?
well, a 400 watt only covers a 2x2 or 3x3 evenly i think. im not sure exactly. 600 does 3x3 or 4x4, and 1000 does 4x4 or 5x5. so it would also depend on how big each plant would be, the medium, how much of the medium there is, (5 gallon, 3 gallon, etc..).

SOURD777 thats a nice size plant there. im thinking of doing 9 plants in a 3x3 area and having a 12 inch gap around the rest of the room. that would give me space to space them out more and possibly have them grow bigger. my only concern is would i get more out of more plants or bigger plants? i just started a journal earlier today if anyone wants to take a look or watch my grow from start to finish. also i will be cloning and filling in my room soon hopefully. the journal is under "grow journals" and is named My Ken's O.G. GDP grow journal.
