What's your wattage and PG&E monthly cost?

For those of you running over 5000 watts, especially you 7 and 8 thousand watters... No inspections or questions from the power company? Any issues running that much?

I am at 2K but would like to bump up to 6k if possible.
Pay your bill before the due date to make sure there are no problems. What inspections? Power companies call the cops when you steal power, not so much when you use a lot. Cops don't get warrants just because you have a high power bill.
Heat, making sure your electrical system can handle it, Even the room humidity becomes harder to control (more plants, more water, more water in the soil).

By "inspections" ( I should have used a better word) I mean them sending a notice or stopping by saying "Hey we notice you have high power usage, would you like us to see if we can bring it down by evaluating your appliances and such?" In our area they offer services like that but only if you ask. I was just getting a little bit of paranoia out of the way. :)

Thanks for your reply! You also bring up a very good point... Larger and more also means more humidity, heat, etc.

I looked at my central AC unit the other day and it's 60 amps all by itself. I was both surprised and relieved that it sucked down so much power.

I read a post awhile back about a guy that was on CARE and PG&E contacted him about his high usage. They were adamant about having an inspector come out to survey his appliances and to make sure the wiring, etc. were not consuming extra, unnecessary power. The pushed the issue to the point where he just voluntarily removed himself from the CARE program. Then it was business as usual...except for the fact that his bill nearly tripled.
