Whats your Maxibloom TDS? Is PH hard to get up?

testing a run with lucas/Maixbloom. 7g/gal
I use RO water. Added 161g of Maxibloom to a half gallon of hot water. Shook the shit out of it.
Added it to 23 gallons of RO.
PH was 3.2 (wtf)
EC was 2.1 (1050PPM on a .5 scale)

Those numbers see real high on the TDS side and really low on the PH side.

Maybe with tap water the PH would be better.

My big problem/question is my PH up. It took close to 100ml to get the PH up to 5.7. I use Mad Farmers UP. On other rez I add about 20ml to raise it from 4.5 to 5.8. Now with Maxibloom I have to add WAY more up to get it right.

Any thoughts?

I ran into the same issue using RO. When i started using it with my hard tap I let it circulate and mix for over an hour and it settled out right around 5.9. Do not pre-dilute the maxibloom, it only causes precipitation.

If you continue to use RO I would invest in a dry ph up. When I used dry GH PH up it only took a small amount and held ph very steady. Since using maxibloom with my previously UN-useable tap water i have had some of the best results so far. Make sure you use a scale to weigh the powder and forget about the scoop to get perfect ratio. Lucas is supposed to end up around 2.0 ec I believe anyway

excellent post. Puts my mind more at ease. Im not a fan of Tap because I cant be sure Im reproducing the environment every run. So ill pickup some dry up and see how that goes. Its not a cost thing or anything just thought it was strange it took so damn much ;)
