I'm running the HLG Scorpion Diablo X over my 5x5 flower table (room not tent currently) I can't turn her all the way up she's too powerful. That light has a very nice red spectrum and it flowers fabulously.

She's running about 50% there. All those, except the Space Queen, are now drying. You can see the lovely pinkish tint. I'm trying to come up with a reason to get a second one lol.
PS you can see the UVA bar too.

If I was going to buy new LED lights it would be some Chill LED.
They overbuild when it comes to thermal design and would suit my needs well.
I know folks like HLG, but I had one of their lights early on, and was not impressed, so back it went.
My LED tents are all COB’s and have been that way for a few years now.

Really when buying led grow lights your paying for guest service everything else you and all the companys can use the leds if they choose to. The best current led chip out is by Samsung it's the lm301h evo and a few companies have started using them so really when you buying leds look to see who has the best warranty and service because any can use the same leds chips. If you have the time yourself and a little knowledge you can put a great light together for alot cheaper with all the best parts but then again it doesn't come with the warranty!

I’m currently using (2) Fluence Spydr 2i fixtures and I’m very pleased with their performance. They’re among the pricier units, but they have a pretty good spectrum for a commercial fixture, with pretty good output. I plan on supplementing the spectrum with some diy strip modules and some monos when hobby funds become available.

I have no complaints with cobs they get a little warmer then the others but not enough to make a huge difference I like cree 3095 cobs they actually are made in America where most of these others companies just buy overseas and put it together here calling it American product.

B-Lite 630 CMH
Ran this setup, but with one bulb because I was only using 3x3 space of a 4x4, and couldn't handle the heat of the 2nd bulb. So, basically 315 watts CMH, with bulb pictured. This was a FUCKING FANTASTIC light that the plants LOVED in veg, but the color spectrum of the light seemed a bit on the "blue" side for flower. I think they were 3850k, something like 3200k or 3400k would've been a better choice for veg + flower. I wouldn't hate running this setup again, maybe winter only when it's cooler + I'm always home.

Currently running this fixture that I won here on Rollitup:

Mars Hydro FCE 4800. Absolutely ideal fixture, not too much heat even with the driver attached. I never have that worry in the back of my mind like I always did running CMH, "i hope the bulb doesn't blow out when I'm not home" that is a total non-issue with LEDs. Great spread, great intensity, great overall look and build quality.

Nice light, I think you'll love it and no I don't think it's too much but start with it very dim. I was stunned how powerful my little 250W one was compared to my HPF4000.

@Laughing Grass what do you think? (she's the one that got me to try the Veg Pro and I immediately bought the X lol)
Probably won't be able to run it at max power but you have room if you upgrade your tent in the future.

I run two 350r in a 5x5 at full power and they're only 10 watts more than the rspec

LED lighting holds more marketing and sales pitch BS out of any hobby I've ever seen in the past 25 years.
It's a fuggin light. As long as it has a proper high end diode (Samsung 301B/H), a large enough power supply, and ideal diode spacing, its going to do the best any of them can. Typical hobbyist mentality and a lot of useless zero data criticism.

Imnsho, the absolute leader in the BS marketing/sales category would be cannabis specific fertilizers, bloom enhancers, resin builders et al... ad nauseum. They are expertly designed to extract the maximum amount of money from a cannabis grower for a minimal amount of impact on the final product.

But I would agree with ya, lighting comes pretty close.
