"Tesla has unveiled a new Roadster, the new version of its original sports car. It’s the fastest production car ever made, according to Elon Musk, with speeds of just 1.9 seconds for 0 to 60 4.2 seconds for 0 to 100. It can handle a quarter mile in 8.9 seconds."

And a 500 mile range, so I read.

That range is impressive. 500 miles is a good day's traveling.

Doble steam powered, 1929 I think it was refurbished into a roadster.

Car still exists, I have an old article about this same exact vehicle in an early '80's Specialty Auto magazine by Hemmings.

A very cool piece of 1920's engineering.
Can cruise at 70 dead quiet until you blow the horn which is a steam whistle like the old trains had (loud).

The Renault 4 banger killed it for me. It looked cool but it was a wheezer and John DeLorean knew it. Right before the company went under there were preproduction prototypes of twin turbo cars. That would've fixed it!
I thought it was a Regie V-6? Yes it was jointly developed by Renault, Pug and Volvo for their own use and they made a version for DeLorean. It only put out 130 bhp. This was pretty common for V-6s back in the 1970s.

That's a Gallardo/Huracan clone/chassismate. The two cars are as similar as Chevy Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds were back in the day.

Great rides, all. I just happen to prefer the Italian style over the German smashed jellybean look.
Same V-10 cast in Hungary?

I knew some young guys with twin turbo modded Gallardo's. I like the car because it is a smaller car like the McLaren F1. These guys both had one. I asked the one how many bhp it put out. he said on race gas about 1100 bhp. I did not believe him but he brought it by his business and took off in it. It was really fast and loud and probably put out that much horsepower. It was easily over 800 bhp.

That's QUICKEST, but not fastest. I'm curious what the top speed is.

I heard he unveiled the electric semi tractor, too. I'm very interested in those numbers...

The later ones had the 5.2 liter V-10. Easy to get the K with intercooled twin turbo.

For awhile this was my dream setup until my eyesight got all fucked up.
