Whats The Strongest Strain Out Now?

i've smoked only about 15 different strains that were identifiable, but i've lived in santa cruz for 15 years and we get most of the herb from san francisco and humboldt county, out of the NAMED strains the sensi star that i smoked in 2000 or 01, that was very very strong but probably the weakest plant i've ever dealt with, Northern lights #5, was really strong.
the problem with this question is
lets say for arguments sake grower A use two digital 600w hps and one 400w metal halide, in a 8X8
he uses only organic and has been growing for years.
grower B uses hydro two 1000w hps and has been growing only for a small time.
see the issue, you could take the EXACT same strain and grow it organically with a mixture of hps an MH, and then the other guy will have a drastically different product, then there is other variables, how old are the bulbs, do they have similar ventilation, any CO2 being used...
I've had some crappy herb that was supposed to be medical strains, Big Bud, Rock Bud, Hindu kush to name a few.
Now i'm willing to bet that those strains weren't grown correctly, so my opinion of them isn't fair.
It would be like making scarlett johansen stay up for 2 weeks living only on meth, cigs and protein supplements and then see how hot she is then...
maybe a bad analogy?

very well said i had the same thoughts as i wrote my post a lot depends on who and how grown,but that also being said being from cali we have along history of very good bud locally like the original humbult county skunk which ive not seen or smelled anything like it since the mid eighties flouresent green sticky resin coated goo that was almost impossible to keep lit while smoking and really did smell like a funky ass skunk...

this godbud i'm smokin pretty close ,very strong, real sour like the og ,very high thc rate. harvesting 12 ounces.baseball size nugs.has very long creeper that comes on ya wen ya forgot,lol.

The strongest & cleanest smoke I have ever had also.. JH is just so tasty & the buzz is second to none

So true on the post about diffrent growers make diffrent shit. I've seen new growers even wreck our c/c's and thats dam hard to do.

I am growing two very potent strains at the moment... Super Lemon Haze... (Cannabis Cup Winner) so resinous I've never seen anything like it and White Rhino (Medicinal Strain)... Check my journal, they are awesome... :-)

Being a medical patient in Southern Cali and have been toking for over 15 years so I have a pretty high tolerance. Strongest stuff out there Indica wise would be one of the OG variants, Sourbubble was pretty damn strong too. Sativa wise I would have to go with Blue Dream, or one of the super silver hazes. Arcata Train Wreck(the real stuff) is pretty damn good as well.

I would have to say the strongest shit i know on the thc levels would be northern lights, white widow, and barneys farm.
White widow is supposed to be the strongest weed in the world measuring up to 25% in thc and hybrid sativa dominant. all those strains will fuck you up.
oh and just a quick tip, When my tolerance gets that high i just chill for a week or so without blazing and trust me it makes your weed much more satifying and it lasts longer.

Are you saying that every strain in the Barney's Farm line is uber-potent or is there an actual strain that is called Barney's Farm that I am unaware of?

When you talk about the real White Widow it should be called Black Widow since that is what it was renamed. Just calling it White Widow can confuse people and they might purchase one of the roughly 24 or 25 knockoffs that are called White Widow, some of which are indica dominant rather than sativa dominant.

http://www.barneysfarm.com/ the pineapple chunk and dr. drinspoon are both 25% according to the site. one thing you should take note of is indica vs sativa. you may already know this, but if you dont it should help you find the right strain for you. another chemical besides THC are CBDs. sativas normally make you less tired because they have less CBDs. indicas have more. so you could smoke both an indica and sativa that are the same in thc potency, but the indica will probably make you feel more fucked up because of the CBDs.

currently im growing LA Confidential for a medical patient and that stuff is the best shit i have smoked in years. not sure of the THC% but everyone says it's way better than all this other so called medical going around which no one knows how to dry or cure. the problem is LA Confidential seeds are no longer available from DNA genetics.

I hear from a prop 215 card holder that same guy in Santa Cruz area that has some stuff called crescent wrench. This person is a heavy smoker and has a long history of heavy consumption. If anyone knows anymore about it; please share the knowledge.
