What's the problem???

What's up guys,

Check the pics below....not sure exactly what the problem is.

These three plants are about a month old. I tried messing around with LST and that's why they're shape is all jacked up.

My soil is on the airier side...some MG potting soil mixed with a lot of perlite and black cinders. This yellowing got bad about a week ago.

First plant seems to be the worst. As you can see, not only the lower older leaves look bad, the new growth seems to be affected as well.

I don't know....you guys are the experts. I don't really care about these plants as I was just messing around--but I am concerned as I have a few autos just sprouting and I don't want the same thing to happen to them.

I have a few ideas, but I'd rather keep my mouth shut so I can get your unbiased opinions...

THANKS!

Black cinders are lava rocks.

They should not be used for any application where you are planting. They are used primarily in landscaping

I would assume you are using black cinders in place of perlite. Not a good idea

Your plants are definitely suffering from nute burn, that is obvious.

Advice: "stop using black cinders"
