@Dorian2 Yes, the roots is the foundation, absorbing water, inorganic salts and soluble small molecular organic matter in the soil, calcium, magnesium, etc. Which factor could help grow better roots?
One of the main factors would be proper environment, like others have noted. Soil structure, quality of lighting/amount of light, feeding schedule and attention to detail in the different stages of growth.

There are 4 main factors in growing a plant water,light, nutrients, temperature these four things effect the plant hormones that make it grow quickly or slowly

Personally I wouldn't include genetics as a growth factor, genetics affect the end result for sure but we can get good growth rates with from wild pollinated Afghani or Columbian brick seeds.

I've had some great yields of mids at best and some not so good yeilders but the weeds excellent.

@Lizard0420 Yes, water,light, nutrients, temperature is 4 main factors for plants growing. Are the air humidity, oxygen and carbon dioxide can offect plants growing greatly? :confused:

Ph plays a factor for sure, bioavailability
Grow style, ie hydro, aeroponics etc
