Whats the easiest and cheapest hydroponic setup?

This is gonna be my first hydroponic grow and I want to make something that's pretty easy, cheap, and dosnt require alot of space. My grow space is 2'x2'x5' so theirs not a whole lot of space. I was gonna make a ebb and flow system but I'm still not sure so if anybody has any helpful advice can you please help. Plus rep

i say bubbleponics or flood an drain might be easier to do a flood an drain table fill rez with x amount of water with x amount of feed set timer to pump water up to table then drains back to rez, simple that would be my suggestion to you or if you want you could try gravity fed systems like auto pot

5 gallon bucket ``$6
water pump``$40
3"net pot``$1
hydroton``$10
seed--$free-$1000
nutrients--free - $100
lights-$$
exhaust--$$
reflective material
power cords
bungee cords
air pump
air stones
nylon trellis netting

what you put in is what you get out.

HydroFarm Emily's Garden. Amazon.com has them for around $80, free shipping. You can't find an easier hydro system anywhere. It is IMPOSSIBLE to overwater and can only underwater if you don't keep your res topped. Only drawback is limited space. It has 6 sites, but really can only handle 4 full size plants in Flower. For me, it's perfect. I have one in my veg area and one in my flower area so I can have a harvest every 8-10 weeks.

Ebb and flow (Flood and drain) you can go to your local hydro shop and get everything you need fairly easily, or do some leg work and get most of everything from Lowes/home depot. I made my first ebb adn flow set ups but and switching to a flood table with smarts pots/hydroton.
Hydro shop
- 3x3-4x4 flood table: $80-120
- Fitting & tubing: they should throw in for free, we do
- Reservoir: 25-40 gal: $80-120
- smart pots: $40-$60
- hydroton - $60
- GH Nutes - $120

So your probalby looking at $300 - $500 not including a light, if you want something cheaper / smaller I can give you some info on what to get from Home Depot / Lowes

Home made DWC. Bucket, airpump, airstone, air hose job done.
Im with him,
I got a aqua tray with matching rockwool slab both 1meter £10,58w 6500k 5ft flourescent tube and fixture £8 then a pump £15 and used a square plastic storage container as a res.
I only done this to start them and I will be going to air buckets and hps.

You basicly put tray at a ngle leaving bottom end balanced on the storage container/res with pump in and connect water pipe, pop holes in and use as a drip system.
You could do full grows like this, forgot to add air pump £15 with airstone.Cost was around £50 quid but if I was only doing say 2 plunts I would of bought 2 oxy pots that come with just a air pump and air stone, then just got the flourescent tube or hps over it.
Here look at mine.

Ive then moved in to this
http://s640.photobucket.com/albums/uu128/TRIXTSTA/?action=view&current=MOV00500.mp4&newest=1
see the bucket there in?I will wait for roots and have 1 in 1 of them buckets x2 then Im putting rest in to 10l buckets with just a air stone so 2 90 litre buckets and 6 10 litre buckets.
My avatar is 1 plant in a 90 litre bucket and the tent was 1.2x1..2x2meter tent, the thing was bursting when I finished and I got 15 oz dry under 1 600w hps.

a pump and a few buckets with lids and small plant pots is the cheapest for singles but if your doing a few you could use a tray like I did.
I payed £7 for 7 buckets and my air pump was like £12-15 which will easily do 4 so work it out
No doubt youl need lights/nutes and a carbon fiter which is the most expensivest.
Trust me you can set up pots or trays cheap, its the light/fans and fiters that cost.

Good look,hope ive helped
