whats the difference between six weeks and the full harvest time?

Hi, I'm new and wasnt sure if it was even worth it to post in the newbie thread, as I tend to just be a reader. Anyway, while I was growing some ams big bud, and ended up with three VERY different females. i didnt clone earlier because I wasnt sure if id be cloning males, and time was an issue with pre-flowering. Now im staring at an absolute trich-bomb and I know its the one i want to clone and whatnot so im deciding to reveg the broad. All three actually, but the trich-bomb is the one i want clones of (at least I think, they could all be worth cloning). Now i wanna just start revegging now (ie, harvest and reset the light cycle) and then sample my product, but i feel like I also want to wait the full 8-8.5. whats the difference in yield/potency (the latter being more important) if I wait versus not? Hello everyone btw

oh my , not only that , your flowers swell and gain most of their weight during last 2 -3 weeks of bloom , plucking early means all your hard work , plus all the power you burn is not bein put to its full potential.

geez... okay. i guess thats what I will do. not gonna lie, they really dont look ready either. thanks a lot. you may hear from me again as i get super-impatient lol

You should let it finish and then when you harvest keep the bottom few branches on the steam still planted, then flip her back to 18/6 and reveg
