Probably nothing. Maybe it was cloned/crossed with something else to improve it.

maybe i dont no thats why i ask but the 48 is a white strain i,m not sure about the 47

no they are not the same and are not even related,
i hear ak48 isn't a bad smoke if your just starting growing

What I have read is that Nirvana’s AK47 was a rip off of other breeders AK47 being sold in an F2 form so they renamed it AK48 to try to make it look like it was something new and different and not an F2. I have also read that AK48 was created from AK47 but I have not read what it was crossed with and that makes me wonder since there is no reason to hide what it was made from unless it really is a rip off and really isn’t different and people want to hide that it is an F2. Of course other breeders named things AK48 once it got a following and there is no way to know for sure if there is different or not and if so in what way or ways.
