What's the crack with reserva privadas regulars?

Hi, i've been searching for purple wreck regulars but I can only find femmed seeds and i'd like some regs of this strain. It seems it's not the only strain from rp that doesn't have regs in stock anywhere in fact theres quite a few. I hope they're not going all femmed, does anybody know if they're scrapping the regs?

Face it - the more people that grow the more there will be that breed. Knowing what they are doing or not. Seedbanks thrive on selling seeds.

Thanks canna_420 I just had a look but i'd rather wait until the UK seed banks get them in stock so I can just get 3 or 4 regs in the pick n mix. Seems like they just might have gone short on them and i'd like to add some purple wrecks to my reg seed collection. I've grown p.w before but in femmed seeds and I really liked it I got an urkel pheno.

They are catering to their customers. Most closet growers greatly prefer fems. The growers I know personally, in real life, wont even grow regular seeds.

I have never bought a fem where there was a regular available. Remember, fems are the offspring of a mom fucking herself! In some cases it may help lock in traits not possible with regular breeding, but most of the time is just a way to fuck up the genetics for future generations!

Not necessarily. Good fems are made from pollen collected from one plant and applied to a different plant.

I find it exceptionally hilarious that those who are so against fems have so little actual experience with them and base it on something they read on the internet somewhere.

I've grown tons of fems and regulars. No complaint on most of the smoke provided by fems. Also I've read a lot about breeding, dogs, weed, peppers, and more (I own tons of books and read online). I think your confused as to what I'm saying! Female on Female breeding is unnatural, it looks good in the movies, don't get me wrong! I just cannot do anything positive for future generations. Why do you think so many people like to make inbred jokes, there is some truth to it eh?

its not un natural. Infact more natural then a plant not herming.
Its servival.But modern breeding as gotten rid of this gene.. Thankfully

I only want a nice selection of regs so i've got a very nice selection to breed with so the males are there to do the job with. If I was against fems I wouldn't be collecting autofems too and my last grow was done with fems. I'll still buy fems if I want to breed a male with it or I just want to smoke that particular strain and they only happen to do fems, but if they do regular of that strain then i'd get them instead but settle for fems if that's all they do.

The main misconception about fems is that they're S1s from a plant that was forced to herm. Sure there are breeders with 90% of their fem stock being s1 (swerve). But most breeders cross a reversed female (completely male, not a herm) to a selected pheno of a different strain. They don't just make a cross, then s1 the shit out of it.

Higgins2k9, have you tried emailing Sea of Seeds? You usually get a response with in a week and they've always catered to my questions.

I asked them about Purple Kush and Cannalope Kush when they weren't listed on their website, the reply I always got from them was "added to the site" so perhaps they'll be able to do this for you too?
