what's the best true watt led light to use for a 24x24x36 grow tent?

I have a 24x24x36 grow tent and I want to put 4 plants in it and use a led light grow it, but I'm not 100% sure what wattage led I should use, alot of the Web sites I have looked at said to use around 143 watts but they also said theres a difference on what the web site will say vs. The actual true wattage it's putting out and how much your plant is actually getting. I was just looking for some justification and clarification if anyone has any. Also if anyone knew any good brands of led for a small grow that would be much appreciated. Thanks alot!!!!!!!!

Choices can be difficult because all LED panels are usually internally run at a rating much less than advertised. Reasons are for heat , diode life , quality of components. Most are from overseas .
It also comes down to your budget ..... Everything budget panels like galaxy hydro , mars hydro and others up to high dollar big power panels like BLACK DOG.

Most posters here will scream HID but based on your tent size , LED would probably be a better option - lower heat , and power draw.

DIY COB PANELS are the ones to beat now - even a small 200w build can have awesome grows. I plan on joining the rest with a build i'm slowly doing .

But in the mean time i have some Mars Hydro 600s and G8 Bloom Booster UFOs.
I really like the G8s All Deep Red for bloom , run quiet are are very bright.
The Mars Hydro panels are good panels to get into the game of growing and more importantly don't break the bank.
These are full spectrum panels with blues , reds , IR and White leds.
This years models are all update with higher power CREE / EPISTAR leds.
Mars Pro panels also have light switchable modes - seedlings - veg and bloom modes.

I started with these panels when started growing about a couple years ago.
They never failed me and worked very well. I also am locked to smaller grow spaces.
And like the buds it makes - LED grows seem to make nugs denser , at least for me.

For a SCROG grows - it works even better due to the EVEN CANOPY.
LED panels notoriously have poorer penetration than other typical lights. So a even canopy gets a better exposure if light.

This is my setup currently -

It gets me nice buds and plants.

There will the typical haters talking shit about these lights but proof is in the pudding.

Budzbudda knows what he's talking about. Had to chime in before the LED haters start in.
I'm running dual Apollo 400s in a 2'x3' and flowering a NYC turbo diesel female lst and have 24bud sites squat, heavy and dense.
Just make sure to have great ventilation and don't overwater, LEDs don't dry your plants out as much.
They do put off a bit of heat, as mine raise the cabinet about 8 deg F over ambient temp.
