Whats the best starter soil?

I was wondering whats the best fox farm soil to use for the first month? I used fox farm ocean forest from seed to finish and i had alot of nute burn for the first 3 weeks, so i wanted to try something a little less harsh for the first month and then use the ocean forest. Thanks in advance

Maybe try peat pellets. I plant straight into FFOF w/ 20% or so added perlite and don't have a problem.

are you feeding chemical fertilizers or something? Are you sure that was your problem? keep in mind its very difficult for you to overfeed your plants on foxfarms soil as all the nutrients in it are organic. ocean forest is the best one imo, light warrior or happy frog might be more suitable for you if your going to be feeding additional stuff, otherwise add some perlite or something.

I would recommend starting in a soil that isnt so hot. I almost burnt my White Widow from a seed in Ocean fForest. You know them coco cups I filled that with regular soil, I don't even know what kind to be honest. After there about a week old I put it in the pot with ocean forest. There beautiful plants Ocean Forest is the best I never seen anything grow like this in my life. I heard all strains are different so be careful, some people can get away with it. I couldn't.
