OK, I give, why 3500 and just how much money are you putting on the table if any of the rest of us want to get in the pool?

I've seen tests showing a range of results both above the FDA Class III solvent standard of 5000 ppm, as well as None Detected, because of the test cut point of PPM.

I've also seen hash with pesticides and mold, which a hot press won't fix, soooo can we agree to compare well done products in both cases, or poorly done ones, but not randomly mix the two.

I've never understood why people would want to induce foreign materials into something they ingest or smoke.

Here's my rosin Tech. I smashed about a gram and a half and got this dab for toddlers lol... Yields are coming in around the interwebs.. Seems to be some decent numbers and the flavor is superb. I was skeptical at first, but I am a believer now. In fact, I tasted Terps that aren't generally present with my other extraction methods. I actually enjoyed it more than bubble and bho with THIS strain. I'm going to try others...

just did another with my SoCal Master Kush :/ that didn't go well at all.. I smashed like 2 1/2 grams and got another ant dab. Also I think I pressed too hot. It tasted a little like spent vaporized weed. Not too stoked on that. I'm high though lol

You see that temp chart that soilgrown posted which I posted up in this thread? He experimented with different temps to see what the yield difference was.

Keep in mind he is using a t shirt press.



Also there was talk on hash church about rosin tech and steam distillation. I can't remember if they confirmed if rosintech was in fact steam distillation, but they spoke about the need for moisture content in the flower and the resin. Something to think about.


Anyone experimented with bone dry vs proper cured bud vs fresh/wet?

how could it be steam... where is the water added to the equation?

It makes sense. When applying that heat quickly and having the water present in the bud, it's like forcing the resin out by that steam pressure. Maybe, I'm just guessing... But is that what they talked about?

I vac purge my shit for 4 days with low heat and high vac...

And mine is cured proper, the stem snaps and the flower is still sticky, not dust... So that might be part of my low yield....

Vacuum purging the rosin will make it shatter I believe, I was thinking about that, and just saw kushiw kandy doing it with Kong water hash If I'm not mistaken...

Now that's funny. You've only been watching someone else do it. Try it yourself. I've been making bho myself for years. Don't think your newbie ass can tell me how clean my shit is. I vac purge for 4 days with low heat. There is no butane left in my product and I am willing to have it tested. And when it tests cleans I'd love to share some with twitch and fadedog. But don't think you can sit there and tell me my shits full of butane. At least I make my own.

I never said it was cleaner. Just more concentrated. Ice water hash is made with ice water. No solvents so no risk of having any left in your product. Simple. But just because I make bho does not mean that I leave my product unclean.
