Hi

I have posted pictures before a few weeks ago, but nothing seems to be working. I will try to be brief and to the point and let the pictures do most of the talking, but these are my mothers plants.

  • I started them all from seed on November 1st.
  • They are in Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil 2 gallon pots.
  • Light schedule is 24/7. Temps are between 74-80 CO2 is at 1100. Under 12 bulb t5 structure 648w.
  • They were given nothing but water for a month and a half, which is when I started seeing problems.
  • I checked my water ppm was 0, so added calmag and started adding nutes 5ml micro, 5ml grow, 5ml bloom, 5ml of calmag. Seemed to get worse.
  • I flushed all with plain water, and bc they were still yellow I'm thinking they need nutes.
  • I have given them 10mlo micro, 10 ml of grow, 10ml of bloom and 5ml of calmag 2 waterings in a row followed by just water and calmag; and now back to 10ml of M,G,B
  • The runoff water ph is 6.4 and ppm seems to range from plant to plant anywhere from 600ppm to 900ppm.

They still dont look healthy to light and yellowish and also on 2 of the plants the new growth is purple (pictured) What is going on and how do I get them back to health???

What brand of nutes are you using? NPK ratios? I would probably try a foliar with the micro or get some kelp and try a foliar with that.
That also looks like a lot of vegetation to be supported by 2 gal pots. They would be happier if you transplanted.
I am not an expert, just sharing a couple thoughts. Good luck

Using Blue Planet Nutrients. First time trying to keep mothers in soil. Usually use hempy method. Want to take 30 cuttings a month. What would you recommend as far as pot size? Could I just trim the roots and add more soil?

Which products from BPN are you using? It kinda looks like you nute burned them by introducing 5ml/g all at once, instead of watering with 1ml/g, and stepping it up slowly.

I am sure you could get away with trimming the roots and repotting. I wouldn't get too aggressive with the trimming, maybe take an inch or two off the bottom of the root ball and slice vertically on sides gently shaking some dirt loose. A slightly larger pot would be best.
Blue Planet are quality nutes, I would be surprised if that was your problem. I would definitely try the micro at about 1/2 strength as a foliar as well.
You should see them bounce back pretty fast once they have some new soil.
Sounds like a nice setup you have going there.

Just took a second look at your pics. Pic 3 looks like it could be a Phosphorous deficiency.

Took this from another site:
[h=3]Phosphorus (P)[/h] Also identified by slow growth, leaves will become a very dark green or purple color and may have red or purple veins. Leaves may be quite small and possibly deformed. Using a high P fertilizer should correct the problem.

I have never delt with a P deficiency but that is what it most looks like to me based on a quick search. It looks like it can be locked out at a PH below 6.2-6.3ish, maybe try a watering with a slightly higher PH? Wait for some other opinions before you make any big changes though.

5ml of micro grow and bloom was recommended for seedlings, which these clearly are not; and the fact they are yellowing shows a deficiency. So cutting nutes down doesn't seem very logical to me, but maybe you're right...
