Whats different about OG KUSH!

Got an OG Kush that refuses to fit in with the rest of my babies (Now at day 16).

Are they more/Less tolerant in feeding? I see a very very slight yellowing on the inner part of the leaves, The rest of the leaves are a healty-ish light green colour.

hey, i was just going to post a similar thread asking what's so special about OG kush in general as diesel and kush are two things i don't like and have always given OGs away as i'm planning to do with my humbolt org ufo too. why is a strain i picture tasting yucky and being stony so freakin' popular? fuel. in all it's forms, is an abomination against mother nature.

og's aren't fuely like a diesel hazey.. they are more on the piney side of things, or even coffee if it's a bubba, some are even lemony like the larry.. og's are also very hashy in flavor.. imvho, kushes taste bomb..

OK, well OG kush IS descended from chem, like diesel though. the flavor aspect sounds agreeable, now what about the buzz and odor level? maybe i'll change my mind and try OG just once if it doesn't do an afghani impersonation just to say i have. i was planning on giving my humbolt OG away just as i've done TH seeds', G-13 labs and maybe reserva privada in the past too.

og's are hybrids, unless of course you're talking about bubba, which is pretty much indica all the way around, and they tend to have a high more on the stony side of things, much more couch lock then soaring like you prefer..
i don't really see you liking og's tbh..

that's what i thought. even skunk #1, blueberry & masterkush are too stony for my tastes, but better than the even worse gear that's more common. i'd rather the seeds go to someone who'll appreciate them more. i might be able to score some OG bud i'll try if there's nothing better around at the moment some day. then i'll be able to say for sure what i think about it, but you're right, stony and i don't get along at all, but at least in the case of jack's cleaner 2, a little bit of stone CAN be a nice thing if it isn't imparing and balances out against the paranoia that tends to come with that territory.

thanks for clearing that up. a long time ago, someone tried to make Os sound energetic, and i just wasn't believing them, not when kush is part of the name.

So who knows about how they take to feed? Just any information in general from someone whos grown it want my babies to thrive!

OG's require lots of Magnesium or the leaves just go yellow and fall off at random. Don't worry I had the same problem in the past.

Absolutely correct!

OG's need a strong Cal/Mag dose to keep them happy. They are also heavy feeders all the way round so dont be afraid to go heave on the P/K booster during flowering. My girl could take nute strengths that would fry most other strains. Wish I still had her to be honest

I disagree! Its all a matter of personal taste. I have had some sativas in my day that i would put up against anything! One thing for sure , there is a huge difference between an indica stone and a sativa high! ive tried to explain that to my best friend as he prefers to be stoned out of his mind. Just my 2 cents

Exactly. "Good weed" is all relative. I for one don't like some bullshit like an Indica-dominant OG that glues me to the wall, nor does anyone else I know that actually respects cannabis. Then again, most of my smoking buddies live on the Mexican border and know what REAL MIND TRIPPING WEED IS ALL ABOUT.

All these cats in California smoke bullshit. It might be powerful, but it's not mind-trippingly numb in my opinion. Yet again, I don't smoke weed to feel "less pain." So I don't relate to that shit. You fucks can hate all you want, but you guys in Cali and Washington focus on the medical side of things, I DON'T.

Youre a jackass

Og is dif than most strains because you get the same effect every time all the time. Its not something you build a tolerance to. You can smoke an oz from start to finish and get the same effect from the first rip to the last.

I gotta disagree racerboy. The OG 18 at least was very much like sour diesel. A little more lemony and less sour but very much similar. I don't know how you can not like the fuely, sour lemonhead flavor, it's the best IMO.

Both my plants from feminized seeds were strange plants though. Kind of slow growers, a bit fussy, low yield, stretchy but they come around and produce quality buds like all the relatives.

Thanks mate, just the type of feedback I needed, I gave her RO water one week with no cal/mag and she didn't like it at all.
Do you think I could not buy cal/mag and just at about half a litre of my 750ppm tap water to my 5 litre bottles of feed?
