whats a easy strain to grow in soil thats potent...

and has alot of thc crystals but dosent grow to tall and yields a lot. i was looking at white widow, Bubblelicious, white rhino, wonder woman.the seeds im getting are feminized but whats the chance of getting all 5 seeds to be female and all actually turn out to sprout? the order is gonna be from nirvana seeds.

if any one has PICS of these strain that they grew post them in the thread ill be happy to see how they ended up looking.

seedsman white widow is good for a 1st grow. Mandala satori is good aswell, and pretty easy and good yields too.

I vote for Cheese, it takes almost no looking after and makes plenty of high quality smoke, the buds get covered in trichs from week 2-3 of flowering. How tall it grows depends on how long you veg, mine normally double in size from the day I make the switch to 12/12.
If you buy seeds from a reputable seed bank and look after them properly, most if not all will sprout and turn out female.

what else i was looking at white widow? how much dose nirviana charge for shipping?

right now i have two major strains growing... blue hawaiian... and a widow X death cross. If you want small compact and potent get you some widow and death crosses if you can find them.

Also i would stay away from feminised seeds the make them with a poision chemical... and they come from hermie plants. So the chances of hermies are greater.

Attached is a few pics of widow clones that i currently am growing in the green house. I usually get a plant that is harvested at 3 feet tall that yeilds about an ounce. All with no SOG or ScROG or lollypoping yadda yadda. i just veg my clones with 24 hour flouresent T5s till there 5 to 6 inces then transplant them into the pot they will finish in. Mild nutes and molases is all i use.

i also put in a pic of how big they are when i put them out so you can see what they do while budding

I never heard the one about feminised seeds being made with poisonous chemicals before... Where'd you hear that?
It is true that feminised seeds come from hermies, but hermaphrodism is induced in the plants by adding light in the middle of the dark cycle, it is not a genetic trait of the plant and so is not expressed in the seeds.

I too have heard/read that plants are sometimes stressed chemically to induce selfing. As far as not being a genetic selfing plant. . . Technically I suspect that may be somewhat true, except that a female plant that easily throws male flowers is already predisposed to this trait and I'm not positive that the breeders aren't breeding selfing into the genetics by doing this.

Actually most feminised seeds are now made by spraying a chemical on the buds. can't remember what it's called atm but i'll look it up if you like. they can also be made by spraying colloidial silver on the buds.

EDIT: The chemical i was reffering too above is called GIBBERLIC ACID. unfortunately you can't smoke the buds after treatment.

So does the gibberlic acid affect the seeds in any way?

I would say Northern Lights also. Never went wrong with this strain. It is super forgiving

i don't think so other than making sure they are females. i'm not an expert though. I think i'm going to try to make some fems at some point but will probably use the c. silver instead.
