What would you change?

Here are a couple of OG plants I am growing.. They are coming out of a 5 week veg and have finished 1 complete week in flower... Here is a pic of the girls and the nutes I am going to use for the 2nd week... SO what I am interested in knowing is, Do you all think my choice of nutes are a good one or not? Am I missing something or adding to much stuff? Peace

What you need to do is look at each and every product and figure out what it is they actually do. Compare the labels. I can tell you off the bat that bud candy is a total piece of crap, just look at the label and compare it to botanicare's sweet:

is that mold or algea at the bottom of you flood tray ? You should wrap the tray with duct tape or contact paper. I would also cover the tops of the rockwool blocks with panda film.

For the extra 15 bucks, go with bud candy. It is very concentrated, and the OG buds I popped off in last harvest were the stickiest, and had the stinkiest fuel like smell i have ever encountered. And i have been to many collectives in the socal area. Botanicare sweet is what seems like bullshit to me, they actually sell a "pineapple" and "grape" sweet to try to change the buds natural flavor. i mean.... HAHAHA. that craps for people who are growing bc bluff strains, NOT for people with OG. for the bombest flavor, bud candy. Tried and true. Not just me, but my hook-up grows GDP, and will not grow with anything aside from bud candy... and i wouldnt smoke any GDP but his. Also, those nutes are gonna be perfect for week 2. if youre using big bud, make sure to switch to overdrive in week 5 or the flowers will poop out. Good luck, OG is my favorite taste!

Honestly?

Everything except the Hygrozyme and ph down. I'd chuck that ph up as far as I could.

You have to understand the different compounds you are adding and their reaction once combined.

I use 1 Veg nute
1 Flower nute
Hygrozyme IF needed
ph down
settled tap water

ppm? never over 650.

all the rest?

Too complicated for this ol' cranky bb.

Nutes are the crucial elements to good, clean grows.

Feed a kid pepsi and chips and what do you get?

You must be referring to wet weight because there is no way on Earth you're yielding 171 ounces from your setup there.

The grams/watt ratio doesn't work for outdoor grows if that's what you're referring to.

I like the Bud Candy, I am not a fan of flavoring my herb.... I use the tarantula Because as my girls Bud they need strong branches to hold the weight.. the B-52 helps to fight stress because the plant does not waist the energy to make its own.. I use the Rhino skin well because potassium silicate is important.. I use big bud because it works and its cheap if you buy it in power form... I got A couple of free bottles of the flora nova and am going to switch to GH 3 part when its all gone...Peace

Yeah, I'm calling BS. You do have good looking plants with a good looking product, but you're not pumping out nearly 11 pounds from 2 lights. It's just not happening, anywhere, from anyone.

Then hang around and watch. Keep yer eyes open. Ya never know,,,,

Not to knock your grow but brewer is right, no way you're pulling 11 lbs with that set up. Judging by the pictures you put up, I doubt if you would even get 1gpw...They look great and everything but you don't have that much weight there

As for the original post, like someone said above, the best thing you have in that line up is the Hydrozyme...Don't spend so much on Tarantual or Pihrana...go with Great White...They're 1/2 the price and 10 times the quality.

I use Great white while my girls are in Veg, then I use the Tarantula only for the first watering of the 2nd week...Peace
