What would the consequences be if I were caught?

I've never grown any weed and now I plan on starting. Thing is, I'm really worried about getting caught, so I have a few questions.

1- What is the likelihood that I will get caught buying my lights online + seeds and planting 2 plants?

2- What would happen to my mother if I were to get caught given that I'm underage and she allows it?

3- What would happen to me?

well it all comes down to were u live? and what there laws are! and how much weed/money and plants u get done for.

1. almost zero. but your buddies will get you busted

Thanks for the replies. The house is rented. In that case what would happen to her?

look at norml website - it has penalties per state - she would be considered a grower under the law.

Being in a rental is bad news. Having teenage friends is usually bad news. Putting your mom at risk is bad news. Cheap weed is good news.

It will take considerable time to get the small amount of weed that you are going to get out of two plants in a closet. Will the benefit outweigh the risk? That's what you gotta ask yourself.

I think that being in a rental and if you tell even one friend about it would put you at such a high risk that its not worth it. The whole thing about growing is that you have to wield as close to total control over your situation as possible.

Yeah I'm thinking about it and I'm actually more inclined to not planting anymore. If I lived by myself I'd do it in 2 secs, but I don't want problems for my mom. What if she said she didn't know anything about it? Since it's something small she could say that the closet was locked every time she got in the room so she never saw it. Is that possible?

Anyway, I think I'm not gonna grow. Damn, it would be so awesome =( Free access to really high quality weed any time I want lol

hoped you would get to this point on your own like you have - too many kids on here getting their 'rents into potential big trouble. buy your own until you are on your own. good decision all round.

dont grow weed if your worried about getting caught... your mom is going to hate you if she has to goto jail for you to. wait until you get a house or find somewhere outside to grow, dont buy seeds/lights via internet with your credit card...

Though it's kinda pointless to grow in Brazil given that price for the gram ranges from 1 to 3, 3 being some pretty fucking good shit. Just would improve on the quality a little bit xD

if weed was growing in the house where your mom lives she would go to prison. you will most likely get busted through an informant, not mail order. if you are growing weed at 17 years of age you will be tried as an adult and go to prison. be careful, they love those young guys. you might end up being somebodies girlfriend!!!

what state? i just looked up all of the state laws on norml website, under 100g's (poss/or cult)in ohio is a $100 fine with NO TIME and NO RECORD, I was amazed, but missori even up to 2.5g, you will go to jail and lose your home(CULT), its all by state

lol, yeah good advice all around guys, it is better and more wise to not do it. Jeez im 30 and never ever did it except for failed outside bagseed grows as a youth. Just started a year ago because of the risks. It is a sad event in this country that in one state your cool and legal with a med card or whatever but in another your a criminal.
As far as going to PRISON your first time out I dont think it would happen in any state, most have laws that offer probation for first time offenses. No matter what you did ...not in regard to murder and rape though..... Jeex I seen too many people with coke or meth or other crap get less than 2 or probation with records so when and if you do it try to keep your record clean and then if ever something happened youd have a lawyer move for probation...99% chance youll get it.

yeah, the first step to not getting caught is take your picture off this website. The cops know about this site and more than likely search through it. Your mom could get in shit dependent on whether or not the cops are assholes and you handled it, if she claims no knowledge of it and you say the same then most likely she wouldnt be charged but she very well could be. If you dont have a record of any kind then you dont have to worry about prison time, youll get probation and probably drug classes. Id say for your mothers sake dont risk it, wait till you are on your own and can control all the variables that go along with growing, mainly whos coming in your home. The best way to get caught is telling someone what you are doing. If you want to sell it to a friend make sure they think you bought it from a dealer that they do not know.

if u have no record u will prolly get a misdimeanor, but it's not worth the risks, if it's a rental they are gonna wanna kno why the hell certain bills are so high, and will want answers, second u're mom will get into trouble whether u and she claims she didn't kno anythin about it or not don't do it if u really have to grow, go guerilla but it is still ill advised
