What would happen if I planted right now?

Hey so I just came into possession of a huge amount of seeds. Mostly bag seed, probably not at all very good bud, but still, no joke, A LOT of seeds! I started germinating them tonight and I figure I'll just throw em in the soil outside and fuck it, see what happens... Would they grow like 6" and then automatically start to flower, producing nearly nothing worth the effort (not really much effort, I'll water em and actively care for em if they grow), or would they not grow at all? I'm in southern California, the temps the past few days have ranged from 75F daytime, 55-50F nighttime, the past few nights have been pretty chilly. And I'm expecting December and January to be a bit colder...

Thanks friends! :weed:

Your temps aren't a problem.. You will be able to pull buds if they're treated ok.. With roughly 10hrs sunlight through those months they'll obviously flower really quick, especially if they're indica dominant.. Sativa dominant may try to veg out a bit more.. As for 6', doubtful with anything except an equatorial sativa that flowers for like 14 weeks.. They could stay under 2'..

But would they grow larger than 6 inches before they start to flower?

I don't think it would be worth the time and effort if they didn't produce anything to show at the end.

I live in South Florida with the same temps as you. I planted last year outside around this time and they popped up and went right into flowering. They were only a couple of inches when they started flowering. The end result was plants that were about 6 to 8 inches, they yielded about 1/4 ounce each plant. If you have plenty of seeds, why not give it a try! Just don't expect a high yield.:leaf::leaf::weed:

It really depends on the strain.. A pure indica would probably start flowering at ~6", the more sativa in there the better..
