What would be the minimum number of patients needed to viably become an LP?

Hello:

I was just reading some other posts about the new rules and people wanting to become LP's. Where I am there may be only 50 people that would need medicine. So my thoughts were, given the limited immediate market, would I be worth the cost to set something up? If people in major cities are having difficulty getting facilities to grow in then I won't have a hope I he'll of even renting a office space

Well right now there is 36,000 patients and growing. These facilities will have to handle 500+ per location. 55 sites was the original number posted by HC. JAS

Health canada has said many times 55 is a hypothetical number they used in their business case. There is no limit as to how many licensces they are going to grant. Stop spreading bs.

But are they not anticipating that number of patients to increase to approx. 500,000 by (I think) 2024? That is a lot of people. I kind of like the idea of providing specific strains for specific people, and that could really only be done in a small market such as the territory. Why wouldn't it be based on the size of the prescriptions each person has. 500 people with 1lb/ month prescription..someone would be producing at least 500 lbs every month. Not to mention what would have to be in storage in the event of a disaster!! That a lot of product.

I have read lots of your doom and gloom threads towards this new program. So i'm starting to call people on there bullshit.

Please provide a link as to where it says "55 lp's" originally posted by health Canada.

Where is the link or archive that you read? I don't want to hear my friend, lawyer, Mom, dad, inside friend told me.

Just the cold hard facts Jonny...

Also are prescriptions not limited to 150gr per month?
No, you can only purchase or possess that much at one time. So for instance if someone had a 10g/day prescription they could buy 150g on the 1st of the month, and another 150g on the 15th.
