Don’t know anything about led. Want a small led light for my mother plant. What wattage would be best for this? Probably only need 1.5 ft by 1.5ft of light
I use a 600w adjustable "grow cruiser" led panel from amazon - 30 quid and more than good enough to keep a mother and provide you with cuttings

i have a 2x2x3' clone/seedling tent with one of these HLG 65s and couldnt be happier.

for an extra $50 you could have something also capable of a full veg cycle if the need ever arose in the HLG 100.

As others have said theres cheaper options but im a firm believer in the old phrase that "you get what you pay for"
Ive vegged under T5, ive vegged under blurples, etc and theres a clear difference in the newer blue spec veg specific LED's for veg. top notch node spacing, side branching and leaf production and just super "happy" plants.

I just ordered the HLG65v2. We’ll see how the mother plants like it . Thank you for the suggestion

Id get something which incorporates extra far red and uv, its beneficial for plant health.
both of those things are more beneficial during bloom. Vegging under a B spec light and flowering under one with far red and uv is perfectly fine. (the levels and wavelengths of UV in most lights actually doing much is another debate)
